Service Advisor Baldonnell

NVD Trading Ltd, the leading Vehicle Logistics company in Ireland, has excellent career opportunities in the HGV Workshop department at Baldonnell Co. Dublin.  Due to the expansion of our business, we are looking to hire an HGV Service Advisor for our busy inhouse workshop department.

Requirements

• Strong administration skills.
• Manage all driver and driver management inquiries professionally and provide excellent customer service throughout their service/repair journey.
• Provide necessary reports for both internal purposes and external requirements, maintaining accurate records of service/repair details.
• Excellent IT skills essential – An understanding of the Assetminder / Sage systems would also be advantageous; however, this is not crucial as training will be provided.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal essential.
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail essential.
• Ability to multi-task and work well under strict deadlines is essential.
• Ability to work on your own initiative.
• Good problem solver.

Responsibilities

• Proactively communicate with the driver management team to identify priority defects/repairs.
• Prepare ad-hoc reports on projects as needed.
• Identify areas for continuous improvement for processes based on experience and driver feedback.
• Manage driver defect management system and coordinate with Workshop floor Supervisors to schedule in repairs.
• Assist in scheduling vehicle repairs into subcontractor workshops in Ireland.
• Assist with answering the phone and dealing with queries from drivers and the planning department.
• Coordinating and consolidating NVD related material Working in accordance with the policies and procedures of NVD.
• Carrying out such other duties as may reasonably be requested by the Maintenance Manager.
