Job description

As a Senior Human Resources Manager based in Baldonnell, Dublin 22, you will play a pivotal role as a member of the People and  Leadership Team, contributing to the strategic vision and culture of NVD Group which is currently based in Ireland and the UK.

Your responsibilities will encompass mentoring and coaching our managers to foster a high-performance mindset, collaborating across departments and businesses. You will  focus on driving positive change through our values and instilling a core accountability culture.  This role reports to CPO.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with the CPO to shape the pace, culture, and direction of the group
  • Demonstrate high standards of respect for colleagues and stakeholders
  • Having a deep understanding of our vision and strategy, being fully responsible for the operational management and development of all People focused matters.
  • Deliver excellent attention to detail across all aspects of monthly / weekly payroll (gross to nett hand overs) / remuneration and contract, process and policy management
  • Network globally within the organisation to promote the NVD Group and implement best practices
  • Support new organisational structure development
  • Be responsible for the management of Group organisational chart and all legal and compliance related requirements arising from day to day and strategic change
  • Foster a culture of high-performance through your interactions and outputs and be instrumental and responsible for whole project delivery or project participation in areas such as succession planning, graduate development, values enabling and operational excellence
  • Manage and be accountable for the upkeep, messaging trends, operation and objectives delivery of the NVD Hub – our internal communication platform
  • Understand the business strategy and actively contribute to decision-making processes.
  • Lead HR change initiatives and contribute to business change activities
  • Empower a team to effectively manage HR functions across the NVD Group – this role will require utilising the management teams across the Group
  • Engage with your People team and all enablement function colleagues to ensure effective HR operations
  • Adaptation and implementation of a new HRIS programme, utilising external support as required – working closely with the Project Manager
  • Support local talent acquisition programs and manage site relationships, particularly with unions
  • Manage the RPO relationship and ensure that all standards and legal frameworks are adhered to
  • Ensure the Group is Audit ready at all times
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with legal counsel, contractors and other professionals
  • Work with the CPO to develop succession planning roadmaps and talent pipelines
  • Ensure implementation of Group HR strategy in alignment with local needs
  • Demonstrate analytical ability to address complex issues
  • Support and when necessary drive diversity and inclusion matters which includes

 

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in leading and managing people in a fast-paced environment
  • Travel in Ireland and UK in a planned manner
  • Proven ability to mentor graduate team members
  • Proficiency in working collaboratively with unions and a diverse workplace across Ireland and the UK
  • Excellent communication, presentation, engagement and negotiation skills
  • Ability to influence at a senior management level
  • Thorough knowledge of Irish employment law and working knowledge of european employment law
  • Systems savvy particularly Excel and Google
  • Positive and collaborative style with a real commitment to caring for and upholding strong collegiate relationships

 

Schedule: Monday to Friday, Full-time, Permanent

Work Location: On-site potential for some hybrid after 6 months
