Key Responsibilities

  • Collect and process complex data from diverse sources, including GPS tracking systems, transportation management software, and customer feedback
  • Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics, and other strategies that optimise statistical efficiency and quality
  • Analyse data to identify patterns, trends, and insights; translate data into actionable recommendations for business process improvements
  • Create visualisations and reports for internal stakeholders to effectively communicate findings and recommendations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement analytics solutions and monitor outcomes, adjusting strategies as necessary
  • Stay updated with the latest analytics technologies, tools, and best practices in logistics and transportation

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar role, preferably in the logistics, transportation, or related industry.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organise, analyse, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficiency in statistical packages and analytics tools (e.g., Excel, R, SAS, Python) for analysing datasets
  • Strong working knowledge of AWS cloud computing data analytics tools such as Glue and Databrew
  • Experience with data visualisation tools (e.g., AWS Quicksight, Power BI, Qlik Sense) and database management
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to present complex data in a clear and concise manner to a non-technical audience
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines
